t started with a request to reshape the rudder of a yacht they had designed and built 10 years ago, to refine and improve the feel of the
helm. Six years and one round-the- world cruise later, that job has now led to the creation of a giant carbon composite performance cruiser, which was delivered this summer and is set to be one of the star attractions at this year’sMonaco Yacht Show before heading across the Atlantic to start its first circumnavigation (and its owner’s second). The 146ft (44.6m) Path is the fourth biggest sailing yacht in judel/ vrolijk’s 35-year design portfolio and it’s the third largest by volume that Baltic Yachts has built.
