MENTAL
HEALTH AND WELLBEING IN THE
WORKPLACE
The IoD relaunches its campaign to focus on the needs of the nation’s business leaders
I
ssues concerning mental health at work – including the need to tackle job-related stress, anxiety and depression – have come to the fore in recent years. While most of the attention has fallen on employers’ duty of care to their workers in this respect, the IoD believes that business leaders must ensure that their own needs are met as well. With this in mind, the institute has relaunched its Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace campaign with a renewed focus on the boardroom. It has been working on the project with mental health
charity Mind and Westfield Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organisation and IoD preferred partner. A dedicated hub on the IoD’s website offers access to a wealth of tools, information and advice designed to help you address the mental health challenges facing everyone in your business – including you.
