Blue Max Banner rebrands to Banner A


s of October 2, Blue Max Banner will now be known as Banner.


The new branding results from a customer insights and consumer research programme designed to seek clarity on the companyʼs branding and brand architecture. Banner was identified as the most relevant name for taking the business into the next stage of its development.


Glenn Leech, CEO, said: “As is often the case with businesses that have grown through acquisition, we have a lot of brands. Our intention is to create one distinct and recognisable brand. Banner, with its long-standing reputation in the schoolwear sector and its established brand recognition, was the clear choice.

Orn International introduces new warehouse management system

orkwear wholesaler, Orn International has successfully gone live with the Snapfulfil


Cloud warehouse management system. The company operates a 55,000sq ft warehouse in Buckingham which ships in the region of 10,000 garments per day, all dispatched for next day delivery by midday. With multiple size and colour options for many products, the warehouse currently stocks in excess of 7,000 SKUs. Having used various 3PLs for fulfilment, Orn insourced the operation and began using a paper-based system to manage the warehouse. However, the team quickly realised that a more sophisticated system was required to drive improvements in inventory management and efficiency, while handling the complexity and growth in the operation.


Following a review of four possible WMS vendors, Orn determined that Snapfulfil met its requirements for both functionality and affordability. Ornʼs financial director, Cameron

New sales director for Midwest World M


ark Harrison has been appointed as the sales director at Midwest World – Happy Japan Embroidery


Machines.


He joined the team back in April, having previously worked for Your Embroidery Services Ltd.


Mr Harrison covers the east side of the M1 from Newcastle down to the south coast. He said: “My 17 years plus experience covers all aspects of print and embroidery onto garments and other products. Other areas of expertise include software, online digital marketing and business development in the clothing and promotional sector, so Iʼm understanding of

the needs and issue that companies face and can advise appropriately. “My move to Happy Japan Embroidery Machines was down to wanting to be part of the best machine provider in the market today.
