Contractors hand over upgraded headquarters to Wild Thang

n Friday, February 14, Frank Rogers Building Contractors handed over the new build offices of Wild Thang’s upgraded headquarters. Andrew Dwerryhouse, managing director, said: “This represents a major step forward for the business and it is amazing to see this investment start to come to fruition. When you embark on a development on this scale, you take a deep breath. It’s a huge commitment in time, planning and of course monetary terms – but when you see it start to become reality, you know it is the correct decision.”

Dwerryhouse added: “The really big news is that I actually had my first lunch break away from my desk in 24 years, which is quite a revelation!”

BPMA award winners announced T


he winners of the annual British Promotional Merchandise Association Awards have been announced. The annual awards dinner took place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry


on Wednesday, February 12 and was attended by 450 suppliers and distributors.


Following the welcome drinks, the dinner began with a speech from the BPMA chairman Angela Wagstaff, who introduced Martin Bayfield, former rugby union player, as the celebrity host for the evening. The BPMA’s CEO Jon Birrell, said: “What a great night for the industry to celebrate together. Being back at the Ricoh has enabled us to elevate the awards dinner to another level, and Martin Bayfield was the icing on the cake. A truly wonderful evening to complement a great show.”

The transformation of the headquarters will allow the business to significantly increase manufacturing capacity and will require a rise in headcount to meet our aspiration to be one of the leading branded clothing, merchandise and print companies in the UK.”


Wild Thang is now the biggest company in the promotional product’s sector in the Liverpool city region. Full completion of the entire development will be towards the end of April.
