Double appointment announcement at Inkcups in team exapnsion
S
arah Fenna and Keith Apps have been brought in to expand Inkcups’ European
team.
Ms Fenna was joined the global printing leader as sales manager for the UK and Ireland while Mr Apps was appointed as field service engineer for the same region.
Ms Fenna will lead Inkcups’ sales in the UK and Ireland, strengthening relationships with existing customers and developing strong relationships with prospective customers. She joins Inkcups following six successful years as business development manager and sales director at Soyang, while also bringing more than 30 years of experience from within the industry.
Mr Apps will focus primarily on technical service for customers, performing installations and repairs, delivering customer training, and providing customer support both remotely and on-site.

He will rely on skills honed in roles at Hybrid Services, where he was responsible for handling installations, break/fix service visits and remote technical support on Mimaki products. FTCT updates grant criteria to support more industry families

he Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT) has announced a change to its grant criteria aimed at widening access for parents working across the fashion and textile sector. The charity, which provides financial support to families facing hardship, says the update will make it easier for eligible parents and carers to apply for help with essential items for

children. FTCT supports families with children aged 0 to 18, offering funding for necessities such as clothing, equipment and household goods. The revised criteria reflect the evolving nature of employment within the industry, ensuring that those with varied or non-linear career paths can still qualify. FTCT highlighted that applicants typically need a proven connection to the fashion or textile sector, alongside evidence of financial need.
The organisation remains the only UK charity dedicated solely to supporting the children of fashion and textile workers, distributing hundreds of grants each year to families in need. By refining its eligibility requirements, FTCT aims to reach more industry parents who may previously have fallen outside the criteria, reinforcing its mission to provide practical support and stability for children across the sector.

GelatoConnect gets underway
G
elato has launched the GelatoConnect City Tour, a seven-city event series showcasing how print producers are using connected production technology to reduce waste, lower costs and scale output without increasing headcount.
The tour, which opened in Chicago and Atlanta and has continued through Frankfurt, London, Sydney, and Melbourne, focuses on the operational impact of GelatoConnect, the company’s workflow and production management platform for print businesses.
According to Gelato, producers using the system are cutting material waste by up to 75% and reducing shipping costs by as much as 40% through localised, on-demand production models. Case studies shared during the tour include Bennett Graphics, which reduced material waste from 41% to around 10%, generating annual savings of up to $135,000 on a single product line.
