FESPA Review M&R
The POLARIS S4 Pretreat Unit received its European debut at FESPA. The POLARIS S4 Industrial DTG Platform from M&R sets an industry standard for the newest generation of garment decoration technology. It is designed to handle a sophisticated array of automation needs and quality requirements. The S4 Digital Pretreat Unit is a collaboration project between M&R and Xaar, developed and engineered with Xaar’s industry-leading aqueous inkjet technology.

Mimaki The UJV300DTF-75 is Mimaki’s first UV-DTF printer
Celebrating its 50th anniversary at FESPA was Mimaki. During these celebrations, Mimaki showcased its fi rst UV-DTF printer, the UJV300DTF-75. Combining Mimaki’s expertise in sustainable, energy-effi cient UV technology with its proven DTF textile printing capabilities, this latest entry produces high-quality, customisable prints, ideal for decorating items of all shapes and sizes, including those with uneven or rounded surfaces. Also on display was the recently launched direct-to-textile Tx330-1800, with dual capabilities for printing on both fabric and paper. In addition, the JFX600 and CFX Series print & cut solution, as well as the CJV200-160, TS330-3200DS, and TRAPIS showcased the wide-ranging, creative application possibilities enabled by Mimaki technology.
Ricoh
At FESPA, Ricoh demonstrated next generation textile on demand production versatility in the form of the Rioch Pro D1600 DTF system. Ricoh’s industrial print heads help it achieve speeds in excess of 20sq m per hour for media widths of up to 1,300mm fi lm.

Also present on the stand was Ricoh’s Ri 4000 DTG printer. The system’s inbuilt pre-treatment process facilitates consistent, vibrant, and effi cient industrial garment printing at an affordable price.
