Mimaki releases new dye sublimation printer for textile market

TS330-1800 M

imaki has released its new TS330-1800, designed to cater to the

textile applications market. A new addition to the TS330 series, it is equipped with a larger print width of 1,940mm to work with a broader array of projects within the fashion, sportwear, textile signage and home décor. The new size enables users to increase their output and diversify with larger applications such as curtains, while bypassing time spent sewing and pattern matching.

Arjen Evertse, director sales at Mimaki

Europe, said: “The TS330 Series delivers reliable, high image quality, colour density and high print speeds, and so we wanted to offer print shops a larger machine to further amplify their business growth.

“Thanks to its larger print width, the new TS330-1800 can now accommodate larger home décor applications, a market where digitally printed textiles are in high demand, and higher output with improved layout efficiency for other applications, in addition to all the existing benefits of a TS330 printer.”

DTF gets an upgrade with Roland DG The TY-300

rinter manufacturer Roland DG has rolled out a series of updates to its TY-300 DTF printer.

The enhancements are engineering and performance-based, designed to support high-duty-cycle apparel production. At the centre of the update is a doubling of the white-ink reservoir capacity, addressing one of the most demanding components of the DTF workflow. The updated TY-300 maintains print speeds of 10.9m sq/hr in standard mode and 17.48m sq/hr in high-speed mode, delivering 50% higher productivity than comparable DTF units.

Reliability has also been strengthened through updates to the automatic maintenance system, including continuous ink circulation, scheduled head-refresh cycles and user-replaceable maintenance components engineered for minimal downtime.

another Mimaki announcement about enhancements being rolled out for the dye sublimation TS330 Series. All hardware in this range, including the TS330-1800, is now compatible with Sb411 inks in orange, violet, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow, enhancing colour flexibility and control, and offering improved vibrancy and colour accuracy. The extended colour range – now totalling 11 different inks – provides improved vibrancy and colour saturation, ideal for high-impact branding on sportswear, fabric signage and promotional merchandise. Mr Evertse continued: “Achieving eye-catching prints is becoming increasingly important when printing textiles, particularly when it comes to branded material like signage or sportswear.

“To cater to this market need, vibrant inks like fluorescents give users the ability to produce more saturated, as well as more accurate, colours in their applications.”

For production environments with multiple operators, these automated systems contribute to predictable performance and reduce manual intervention.

Ryugo Nimura, executive officer, global sales and marketing division at Roland DG, said: “With the updated TY-300, we have enhanced core components that directly impact throughput, uptime and ink stability. These improvements ensure the TY-300 remains the benchmark for technical performance and production efficiency in the DTF category.”
