HP Latex 2700W opens doors to new customers for DecTek
S
outh Wales-head-quartered diversified printing business DecTek has
openly praised the impact its HP Latex 2700W printer has had on the business, revealing that the machine’s ability to produce a wide range of output has helped them to attract new customers. Operating for almost 20 years, DecTek offers a host of printing services, specialising in domed resin labels and domed name badges. Working with several leading brands such as Google, eBay, ITV, the BBC and Subway, DecTek is committed to delivering a high-quality service that meets the rightly demanding standards
of its major clients.
This ultimately led DecTek to invest in a new HP Latex 2700W, which was installed by approved HP partner Papergraphics in December 2022. DecTek director Mike Beese explained that in addition to delivering high- quality printed work on a range of materials, the printer offers a more sustainable option that makes its services even more attractive to like- minded customers.
As HP Latex inks are water- based, this makes them much more environmentally friendly than other ink types such as solvent, eco-solvent and UV, benefitting both the print company and its clients seeking more
sustainable print services. “HP Latex technology is very much focused on sustainability and environmentally friendly inks,” Beese said. “The machine prints on an industrial scale to the highest print quality standards. The operating software is also very simplistic and informative, allowing the operator to control quality and effective workflow. “We were also very keen on the white ink feature, with this being a key factor in our decision to buy the HP Latex 2700W model. We are able to print full colour onto dark materials, while the circulating white ink means there is no waste during cleaning cycles.”
