Titan Track: Redefining What Wooden Coasters Can Do


When talking about innovation in roller coasters, most people immediately think about higher, faster or more extreme rides. But in reality, some of the biggest changes actually happen in the details – and one of them is the track itself.

ith Titan Track, Great Coasters International (GCI) introduced a new approach that is slowly but


clearly changing what wooden roller coasters are capable of. The system can be used both on existing wooden coasters as well as on completely new rides,  interesting for parks with older attractions.


A Different Kind of Hybrid  in the last years, but it usually means either steel track on wooden supports or the other way around. Titan Track is a bit different.

type, it allows you to combine wooden and steel track within one layout, depending on what makes the most sense in each section. 
