Its varied resources provide excluded children with access to the classroom and helps minimise teachers’ workload by using EDLounge’s qualified instructors to manage virtual lessons. GCSEPod Senior Leaders and teachers will be on the GCSEPod stand (B114) to back up evidence of its staggering impact on results and engagement in their schools. Ideal for autonomous learning and revision, GCSEPod uses the power of combining narration and visualisation to firmly embed learning concepts in students’ minds. The step-by- step highly visual and engaging resource is also ideally suited to calmly and effectively support students through their retakes. Visitors to Bett are encouraged to watch a few minutes of their award-winning Pods, covering 20+ subject and all major exam boards and talk to real teachers who have used this resource to great effect. KUBO Robotics KUBO (stand F70) is an educational robot that teaches children from the age of four how to code in a simple and engaging way – completely screen-free! It uses individual tiles that fit together like a puzzle in order to make sequences of code that can be used across various different subjects. In addition to its unique and free Coding License - a series of lesson plans, illustrated task cards and video tutorials exploring simple to advanced levels of programming, covering routes, functions, subroutines and loops - this year, the team is launching its brand-new KUBO Coding+ set. Coding+ is a set of 36 additional TagTiles providing educators with a more advanced solution, which builds on the existing programming possibilities. Coding+ helps students to develop stronger coding and computational thinking skills, making it a truly dynamic resource for teaching coding and computer science at all primary levels.

Learning by Questions On stand F160 founder of Promethean interactive whiteboards, Tony Cann will be presenting his revolutionary new venture, Learning by Questions which provides effective lessons while allowing teachers to focus on what they do best – nurturing learning. Covering the core subjects, LbQ sets questions aligned to each individual child’s stage of learning. Working at their own pace, students answer questions and if incorrect, LbQ provides instant feedback and lets them try again. LEGO Education at CreativeHUT LEGO Education will be joining the CreativeHUT stand (F70) at Bett this year to showcase its hands-on STEAM resources that promote a continuum of learning. Teachers will be able to sign up for training workshops to try out LEGO Education’s newest preschool resource, Coding Express. Available to buy in 2019, Coding Express involves children building a train track and exploring basic coding concepts including sequencing, looping, and conditional coding to bring the train to life. Booking in advance through the CreativeHUT website is recommended.
