Casino International: Has the digital arm of EGT been as successful as you hoped when it was established? Vladimir Dokov: I am glad to say that when we founded EGT Digital, we had plans and expectations for the development of the company, which were not only met, but even exceeded. Thus, in a very short period of time, our subsidiary was able to establish itself as one of the important providers and gain leadership positions in the iGaming industry. It owes its success to the last-generation technologies it uses in the creation of its rich portfolio of products, including in-house developed instant games, jackpots, and self-service betting terminals, which are innovative solutions in the sports betting retail technology. Its own all-in-one online platform for betting deserves special attention as well. More than 300 specialists are working on it, programming it in the most advanced languages. In both land-based and digital gaming we are striving not
just to create competitive products, but to set the trends for other companies to follow.
CI: How do you aim to grow this in coming years? VD: We believe that EGT Digital will keep on developing at the same pace in the future, as we will continue to apply the proven formula of ours, which combines the vast knowledge
EGT is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Casino International caught up with Vladimir Dokov, CEO, to find out about the company’s major milestones and plans for the future
and experience we have accumulated over the years, the most advanced technologies as well as competent professionals to ensure that we always provide high-potential and interesting products. We will also rely on our entire sales network, which
currently consists of 28 offices around the world. Of course, last but not least, the trust that our customers place in us will be of crucial significance. We will do our best to maintain and even strengthen the good relations we have with our customers and partners.
CI: With the establishment of EGT Steel Production, has that helped you avoid some of the supply chain and cost issues other companies have suffered from? VD: As a company with leadership positions in the global gaming industry, EGT naturally reached a point in its development where we felt we were ready to take the next step towards achieving greater independence in terms of our production. So in 2020 we founded EGT Steel Production whose material and technical base covers 5000m2 area. It is equipped with last-generation high-performance machines which produce steel products and structures, fully tailored to our clients’ needs and requirements. Thanks to this, we have almost completely closed our production cycle, which has
