www.casinointernational-online.com EDITOR’S COMMENT Managing Editor: Jon Bruford

Usually at this time of year we’re – well, I’m - pissing and moaning about having to go to Vegas again... But this year, like so many others in the industry, I’d really love to be there, would love to see everyone, would love to feel a part of things going back to normal. Even normal-ish would be brilliant.

But no. I’ll not be taking the travel that this job has afforded me for

granted again; in gaming we get to see so many beautiful places, and share them with such good people. As one industry titan once said to me: “Working in this industry is like being a rock star but without the groupies.” I think that’s a great summary and explains why so many people stick around in it for so long. So it’s another year without a ‘proper’ G2E; I’m sure Reed will do a good job, I don’t doubt that for a moment. But next year, when we all come back en masse, that’s going to be the one to look out for. So unless things change radically in a very short space of time we won’t see you there – but we will see you soon. Until then, so long and stay safe.
