Neccton achieves global first with G4 accreditation
Neccton has been named as the world’s first responsible gambling tool supplier to achieve certification from the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4).
G4 is a group of international experts in the field of problem and responsible gambling, with staff and board members from around the world. They have many years of experience working with the gambling industry worldwide to encourage responsible gambling and minimise related harm. The group’s accreditation programme is meant for land-based, online and lottery operators, as well as software and technology suppliers. The accreditation followed a stringent assessment process lasting several months, including an audit and a presentation of evidence of Neccton’s credibility in the field. The certification lasts for two years, after which time the process begins again.
Dr Auer at Neccton, said: “We are so pleased with this validation of our efforts and our approach to what we do. It’s a player-centric approach based on numerous real-life academic studies, many of which I wrote or co-authored.
Bringing my academic experience to this field has proven to be extremely successful and gives us a really original approach. It’s wonderful to have this recognised by this global group that are working so hard to bring their international standards to the gambling industry.” Pieter Remmers, chair of the G4 board, added: “It is with pride that we can announce that neccton GmbH has achieved G4 accreditation and certification on the International Responsible Gambling (RG) standard that has been developed over the past 15 years.
“Neccton is the very first software supplier of RG tools that has achieved this certification which is valid for two years. Herewith Neccton has set a standard for other companies and suppliers that are very important in the development of RG standards and customer communication.”

BeyondPlay signs deal with
Pragmatic Play
BeyondPlay is set for its first major integration after securing a deal with Pragmatic Play. A selection of titles from Pragmatic Play will be integrated with the BeyondPlay software solution and launched with an initial period of exclusivity with LeoVegas Group.
Following the completion of BeyondPlay’s licensing and certification process, the partnership will enable operators to offer slot titles from the Pragmatic Play portfolio, coupled with a multiplayer mode, developed by BeyondPlay. The deal with Pragmatic Play represents a major milestone for BeyondPlay, after the start-up closed a sizable investment in 2021 that saw the venture arm of LeoVegas become a lead investor. Since then, the company has moved quickly to build a strong management team with the high-profile hires of Jacqui Gatt, previously director of gaming at Casumo, as chief operating officer; and Cristina Turbatu, formerly of Playtech, who holds the position of chief technology officer. Karolina Pelc, founder and CEO of BeyondPlay, said: “We are super happy to see Pragmatic Play get behind our innovative vision and commit to be an early mover on this exciting opportunity. “Having worked with the Pragmatic Play team and their slots titles in my operator roles in the past, I am confident this will be a mutually beneficial partnership. For us, to be able to showcase our solution on some of their legendary games, is beyond exciting. We look forward to announcing many more such supplier deals in the coming months.”
Yossi Barzely, chief business development officer at Pragmatic Play, added: “We have monitored BeyondPlay’s journey very closely and we are absolutely thrilled to sign this landmark agreement with Karolina and the team. “Multiplayer functionality begins a new chapter in igaming and opens the door to a world of new opportunities. To see our market-leading titles playing a major role in the launch of the multiplayer era is very exciting.”
The BeyondPlay software transforms solo game sessions into multiplayer entertainment experiences. With the implementation of a multiplayer software wrapper integrated with selected slot titles and launched on an operator website, players can join the same game session on a chosen slot, combine their stakes through BeyondPlay’s patented syndicate bet functionality, and share the thrills of the game, while also enjoying interacting with each other.
