With the time for entries on the horizon, Everi pledges support to British Casino Awards

T

he British Casino Awards opens for entries on Monday August 5th and the upcoming edition is already gaining momentum, with Everi one of the latest industry names to throw its weight behind the prestigious awards scheme. The awards, organised by Casino

International publisher Datateam Business Media in association with The National Casino Forum, is now recognised as a vital platform for the recognition of the foremost manufacturers, operators and individuals from across the gaming sector. Everi, a leading supplier of technology solutions for the gaming industry, has demonstrated continued support for the British Casino Awards since its inception and its involvement in the 2020 scheme marks the company’s third year as a sponsor. The company’s own mission – to be a

transformative force for casino operations by facilitating memorable player experiences, delivering reliable protection and security, and striving for customer satisfaction and operational excellence – is a main driving force behind the company’s decision to continue its sponsorship of the awards. Edward Peters, executive vice president, sales and marketing, notes: “Similar to our mission, the British Casino Awards aims to champion excellence as it honours those manufacturers, operators and individuals who are constantly innovating and

looking for new ways to significantly transform the gaming sector for the better.”

Commenting on the effect that the

awards scheme has had upon the industry, Edward continues: “This recognition, particularly by industry peers, only

encourages suppliers and operators to further raise the bar on innovation to deliver products and solutions that improves operators’ operational efficiencies and ultimately enhances the patron’s experience.” Edward recognises that, in such a rapidly

changing industry, it is vital to “call attention to the incredible efforts of individuals who are significantly impacting the industry for the better” and comments: “A majority of the awards are selected by the industry so to be selected by peers is truly an honour.”

THE AWARDS SCHEME ‘WITH A DIFFERENCE’ In addition to inviting companies and professionals to put themselves, in the running for an accolade, the British Casino Awards offers the gaming industry another chance to get involved – as an integral decision-maker in the scheme. Working in the sector day in, day out gives gaming professionals a unique perspective on which the

very best manufacturers, operators and individuals are. With this in mind, the British Casino Awards will invite the industry to make its voice heard in a number of categories through an online vote. This voting process will produce a shortlist, from

which a panel of independent industry experts will select a winner. The winners in the remaining categories will be decided solely by the independent judging panel. For a comprehensive overview of the entry and decision-making process, turn to page 37.
