2018 Hot hit G2E Asia Hot Hit Game Award

xhibiting at G2E Asia for the fourth consecutive year, XSG makes a return following the showcase of the world’s first mixed reality (MR) fish hunting game in 2018. For its tenth year in the gaming industry, the R&D-focused Taiwanese company is

prepared to venture into the EGM market for the first time. At the company’s booth this year, the audience can catch the debut of something entirely new: a line of EGM products that come with a series of Chinese-themed slot games, all of which sharing a novel playstyle dubbed “TaiJi Link”. “The TaiJi Link game series utilize a special gameplay

formula that is inspired by one of the most successful hold-and-spin game models thriving in the market,” Stanley Ku, XSG’s founder and CEO, explained. The gameplay is allegedly designed to capitalize on ways of prolonging the anticipation prior to a big win, which in turn contributes to enhancing the level of excitement. Hoping to delve deeper into the specifics, we asked Milton Chen, Product Owner of the EGMs, to elaborate on the

mechanism at work: “players look forward to making it big in the bonus game, so we focused on making the experience even more explosive,” he explained. “While many games simply tally up the player’s total winnings at the end, we decided to implement a final spectacle of fireworks that not only concludes the bonus game on a high note, but also potentially lets the player walk away with a winning many times bigger. We believe this will eliminate what would otherwise be an anticlimactic ending, and draw out the feeling of suspense all the way to the end.” To experience this adrenaline-pumping feature in action,

Milton insisted we must try the game in person. “I wholeheartedly invite everyone to come and give our new EGMs a spin,” he added welcomingly.

XSG’s 2019 G2E Asia key product lineup: EGMs with TaiJi Link The star products being debuted on this year’s show floor, XSG’s EGMs will initially launch with 6 Chinese-themed games from the TaiJi Link series, 4 of which will be showcased on the XSG booth. Each of the 5-reel, multi- denomination 243-way EGMs will be a great fit for IRs and casinos, with hold-and-spin-inspired gameplay designed to capture the attention of mass gamers. High-performance hardware coupled with ergonomic design further ensures players’ comfort and lengthens their time-on-machine, while four levels of bonuses and standalone/linked progressive jackpots serve to elevate player excitement to a whole new level.
