GAMING FOR AFRICA Peermont Launches Ground-breaking Winners Circle App

Rewards Programme App is first to offer Wallet Functionality to Casino Guests in South Africa

Casino and hospitality leader Peermont has launched a ground-breaking app of its Rewards Programme, Winners Circle. The app is the first in South Africa and possibly world-wide to offer wallet and transactional functionality to its casino players. Winners Circle is the Rewards Programme to all

Peermont’s resorts, including its flagship property Emperors Palace and the app now allows players direct access to their account from their mobile phone, providing convenience and ease of use. ‘We’re immensely proud of this milestone - service

has always been a priority to us,’ says Peermont CEO Nigel Atherton. ‘This pioneering breakthrough will make our players’ lives so much easier without having to queue at an ATM or the Cash Desk. Now all they have to do is log into the app and make a transaction and almost instantly they can enjoy themselves at our casino. Plus, with the reality of social distancing, we feel its our duty to provide an alternative to limit unnecessary person to person interaction.’

Not only is the Peermont Winners Circle app like

having a Cashdesk at your fingertips, it also allows users to check their rewards points balance, receive notifications, upload required documents and participate in surveys. ‘The Winners Circle app is game changer for us,’

says Peermont Chief Information Officer Nick Truran. ‘With mobile banking and shopping becoming more

prevalent in today’s tech-savvy society why not top adopt the same convenience with your casino account? Our focus continues to be maintaining the highest security standards, so you can rest assured your information and funds are safe with us.’ The Winners Circle app makes use of reCaptcha

and SSL encryption, as well as multi-factor authentication all within the React Native Mobile App Development Framework to ensure guests have peace of mind. ‘This project with Peermont Resorts is a great example of the strong partnership that we have shared for many years,’ said Sethuram Shivashankar, Senior VP and General Manager for Gaming Systems at Scientific Games. ‘Their implementation of the Unified Wallet will enable Peermont to provide a frictionless Omni-channel gaming experience to players contributing to increased player loyalty and improving the efficiency at their resorts.’ ‘This is just phase one and we’re looking forward to

many more innovative additions to this app to ensure our player continue to have exciting times. Watch this space!’ concludes Atherton.

installation was conducted by the Casino Marina staff in Madagascar with remote assistance from the ACE Team in South Africa. “It really was a superb effort by the operations staff in Antananarivo and the ACE team based in Johannesburg,” commented Cliff Lamberton from ACES.
