ST238 – Stuart Turner gain WRAS approval for their new Flomate iBoost

F

lomate iBoost, the ultimate solution to low mains water pressure from Stuart Turner is now WRAS Approved!

Leading water boosting pump manufacturer Stuart Turner designed and developed Flomate iBoost to boost the mains supply to larger properties with multiple bathrooms using high flow combination boilers or an unvented cylinder system, where higher pressure and flow are required. Flomate iBoost is the latest edition to Stuart Turner’s range of mains boost pumps which offer a variety of solutions to the issue of poor mains water pressure to a property. The fully integrated Flomate iBoost combines an impressive 200 litre cold water break tank which overcomes restricted mains water flow with a high performance multi-stage pump to dramatically boost pressure making it capable of

delivering water up to 4.5 bar and flow rates in excess of 100 litres per minute, with a typical performance of 60 litres a minute at a very respectable 3.0 bar pressure. The results are better shower performance, higher flow rates from taps and in fact, multiple water using appliances throughout the property at any given time. The system is simple to install, with an ingenious access aperture designed within this engineered appliance and yet is compact enough to sit within any standard 600mm kitchen larder cupboard. Equally, with its ‘white goods’ look it won’t look out of place alongside other appliances within a kitchen or utility room. Flomate iBoost offers tried and tested engineering from Stuart Turner, has the full backing of WRAS approval and UK water authorities and is available nationwide from your local merchant.

Methven Introduces Airstream Range to UK Market

M

ethven, the global designer and manufacturer of premium showers and tapware, has extended its catalogue of products with the introduction of its new Airstream™ range. Methven’s Airstream technology draws air into the shower and allows it to mix with the water, creating more voluminous water droplets and resulting in a refreshing, rain-like shower experience which can also be personalised thanks to the three function spray options - Full Body, Massage and Combination Spray.

The new range comprises three shower kits: the EKIT01/A features a chrome and white Airstream handset and a lever operated slider adjustment; the chrome EKIT02/A features a button operated slider adjustment and a rectangular handset, whilst the chrome EKIT03/A has the button operated slider and a fan shaped handset.

Each kit consists of an Airstream handset, 1.5m Anti Twist hose and an Easy Fit Rail Kit, which makes the task of replacing old rail shower systems easy by allowing installers to simply screw in the wall fixing, then twist and lock the rail bracket into place.

Martin Walker, CEO of Methven UK, said: “Bringing new designs and technologies to market is an important part of what we do at Methven and we’re delighted to introduce the Airstream range to the UK and widen our collections even further.”
