PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: Zehnder Tetris
The hero product in our Studio Collection is the Zehnder Tetris. Available in central heating, dual-fuel and fully-electric models, this standout radiator has been created in collaboration with the renowned Italian design studio King & Miranda. It has gained a prestigious Red Dot Design Award due to its clean lines inspired by a river-flow pattern and the rhythm of flight, bringing a sense of movement and space into a bathroom. The product is designed on a philosophy which balances proportions that practically accommodate a family collection of towels, while providing space to breathe. The Tetris has been engineered to specific requirements to minimise manufacturing and finishing required, reducing the risk of leaks, increasing life span and reflecting its quality – and it has been optimised for thermal output, delivering efficient, adjustable comfort for any bathroom.
Extensively tested in Zehnder’s lab, Tetris has undergone salt spray and adhesion tests to measure quality and robustness of finishes and lifespan as well as high pressure tests on
construction – we literally try to blow it up to ensure joins and seams hold up to day-to-day use, so buyers can rely on its durability. The Tetris Electric boasts all the same design specifications as its central heating cousin but features Zehnder’s patented IHE immersion heater, proven to save up to 58% energy by remaining at a consistent temperature, unlike other heating elements on the market that switch on and off through the cycle. This reduces wear and tear, prolonging its lifespan and also means the radiator will never go above the set temperature, making it safer and never too hot to touch.
It is ideal for use with heat pumps or electricity as the primary heat source and has an IP65 rating, making it watertight against light-pressure water spray, allowing for safer placement closer to water sources compared to most other models on the market. All variations can be coloured in a whole spectrum of finishes from Zehnder’s World of Colours, allowing buyers to find the perfect match for any individual style and interior design.
