D Impact Signs, established in 1992 are a Trade Signage supplier based in the North East of England. With over 32 years of knowledge and expertise using the highest quality materials, 3D Impact Signs specialise in producing built up letters in metal or acrylic, flat cut letters in various finishes, LED illumination, fabricated sign trays, projecting signs.


Speaking with Anna at 3D impact signs, about what is in store for 2024, she tells us, “We are looking forward to an exciting time ahead for 2024. We have already made steps to expand our team with the help of Tyne Coast College. We are also working with the Made Smarter Adoption Programme and are investing in the latest digital equipment and following a digital roadmap to run alongside our skilled craftsmen techniques.”


Wanting to know about the sheet materials that 3D Impact Signs use to create their bespoke signs, Anna replies, “Stainless steel, mirror or satin is the most popular. The materials we use must go through and stand up to a very vigorous range of different manufacture


processes, this is where we find our suppliers knowledge and expertise invaluable, as they are able to advise and determine which materials are suitable for the application we require.” Anna elaborates on the variety of materials and their benefits. “Aluminium is one of our main material staples. Each material needs a different set of skills and knowledge to produce something that is not only pleasing to the eye, but is durable, can be installed and maintained and last weather conditions if situated outside. Also, the weight of the material is an important factor in different applications. Patterned Rimex is very striking, especially the gold and the Rosy gold is stunning and looks very high end but is expensive.” Discussing pricing for their customers, Anna says, “We believe it is not always a case of using the most expensive material to make a sign have the WOW factor. With our expertise we can advise on the most cost- effective material and meet the requirements of a modest budget to fashion something that is still beautiful and eye-catching.” Curious to know how 3D Impact cut the various materials, or if there is a favoured method, Anna tells us, “We
