Sign & Digital wrapped up a successful show on Tuesday February 24 WHAT A SHOW!
SIGN & DIGITAL UK, AND THE CO-LOCATED PRINTWEAR &
PROMOTION LIVE!, CAME TO A CLOSE ON TUESDAY FEBRUARY 24, AFTER THREE SUCCESSFUL DAYS AT THE NEC IN BIRMINGHAM.
The third co-located show saw 6,500 visitors taking the time to attend the event at the NEC. Visitors were able to discover the newest machinery on the market and see new and improved substrates in-person. Tony Gardner, event director, said: “Although exhibitors specific to the sign industry were lower this year, the overall feedback from exhibitors has been very positive, with the co-location with Printwear & Promotion LIVE! again working well.
“The open plan nature of the two shows across the
three halls was a real benefit for both exhibitors and visitors! Initial reports on enquiries received from the equipment suppliers exhibiting has been encouraging and the introduction of The Sign Makers Village, with the support of the BSGA, was also a good addition to the show this year.”
Sign & Digital UK will receive a change for the future, as with Datateam Business Media’s subsidiary now owning The Print and Sign Shows respectively, the industry can look forward to a national show to be excited for. Tony Gardner, event director, said: “Looking ahead to the future, following the group’s recent acquisition of The Print Show and The Sign Show, we need to assess how we take Sign & Digital forward and the potential opportunity we now have, in view of the acquisition. We are probably three months away from making a decision with regard to 2027.”

THE SIGN MAKERS’ VILLAGE A place for experts, those learning and casual observers, it was a place those in the industry could collaboratively engage and further learn about different areas of the industry. Sponsored by the BSGA, visitors could be a part of specially crafted drop-in sessions and networking events, allowing for the industry to come together and collaborate in person. There were three specialised areas on the Sign
Maker’s Village; the Architectural Learning Space, the Sign Makers’ Workshop and Perry Eales’s sign writing section.
Each area focused on an area of sign making. Chris
