BOILERS, PUMPS & VALVES The Aira Heat Pump was

launched in 2024, making heat pump technology available to all through the company’s monthly payment plan and advanced technology. Building on the success of the heat

POWERING THE FUTURE WITH INTELLIGENT

HOME ENERGY SYSTEMS

n the UK there are around 25 million oil and gas boilers heating homes. However, research conducted in 2024 by Swedish clean energy-tech champion, Aira, revealed that 11% of adults were considering installing a heat pump. So, with demand growing, the company launched the Aira Heat Pump with smart home energy solution. The Aira Heat Pump and complete service offering provides an affordable monthly payment plan, and zero upfront costs. According to the company, with this approach, it is making the next generation of clean energy-tech accessible to millions, saving customers up to 25% on their heating costs from day one, whilst reducing

household CO2 emissions by at least 75% - with emission savings rising to 100% if the heat pump is powered by green energy electricity. This heat pump has a contemporary sleek

design, with intuitive light cues, soft edges and a colour palette that is designed to fit naturally into its surrounding environment. There are no displays – customers are put in control of all settings via a thermostat and smart app that they can control anytime, anywhere. Furthermore, the system is always improving thanks to ‘Aira Intelligence’, a set of smart, connected features that continuously learn the customer’s routine and household habits to precision plan heating and hot water. “The launch of our new Aira Heat Pump marks a key milestone in Aira’s journey to serve five million customers across Europe over the next decade,” said Martin Lewerth, Aira Group chief executive officer. “Through this, we are helping more households unlock significant savings and reduce carbon emissions - all whilst adding value to their home with a state-of-the-art heat pump. Heat pumps have been around in Scandinavia for decades and we are excited to bring contemporary heat pump design and technology to wider Europe. The time to switch is now, because a warm home shouldn’t cost the earth.” Added to this, Kaj af Kleen, Aira chief product and

technology officer, said: “Marking a new era in home heating, the Aira Heat Pump is the perfect replacement for any gas or oil boiler. Throughout the development process, our design team were laser focused on one goal: to make a simple system that any individual or family would love to live with. We have developed an intuitive app that works to control your home heating and provides customers with peace-of-mind through the inclusion of features that help drive even greater efficiencies, helping them to save money and

CO2 emissions. We set out to design the next generation of heat pumps – a beautifully designed and intelligent system, available in a range of sizes fit for any home – and that is what we’ve done.”

INTRODUCING THE AIRA POWER RANGE Now, however, the company has introduced the Aira Power range, completing the fully integrated Aira Home Energy System. The Aira Power Hub (inverter) and Aira Power Store (battery) are connected in one system, working seamlessly together with solar panels and the Aira Heat Pump to unlock monthly energy bill savings of

over 90%, the company explains. The Power Store is the battery of the system.

It banks solar generated, or low-cost electricity from the grid, to accommodate household needs. The Power Hub converts solar and stored energy, directing it around the home and unlocking greater potential for increased savings. It plans, forecasts and intelligently balances energy flow between the solar panels, grid, heat pump and battery, ensuring every device and appliance gets the energy it needs, when it needs it. As a modular and scalable system, the products are designed to be an affordable solution that suits a variety of households. Powered by Aira

Intelligence, the system maintains energy flow throughout the home, optimising in

real time to deliver an efficient, comfortable and cost-effective solution. It learns daily household habits and incorporates intelligent weather control; predictive solar generation; smart tariff integration; and hot water management. Consumers can see a real-time overview of energy generation, storage and usage, as well as long-term performance and cost savings on the Aira Home Energy app. Kaj af Kleen explained: “Our intelligent products

work seamlessly together to offer a robust, fully managed system with one provider and an end- to-end customer experience. The system predicts, optimises, controls and monitors home energy to maximise savings, comfort and efficiency. People across Europe can now benefit from more control than ever before, without lifting a finger.” With Aira’s new intelligent home energy system, people have more control to cut monthly bills, reduce reliance on the grid, and lock in energy security for years to come.
