The Board of Directors for United Wheels Inc. has announced the appointment of Bruno Maier as its president and chief operating officer. Maier will succeed Claude Jordan, who is retiring after
close to four years with the company. Jordan will remain on as a senior advisor for a period to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Chairman Bailey Liu said: “It is with a mix of sadness and
gratitude that I am announcing Claude Jordan’s retirement as president and chief executive officer of United Wheels. We wish Claude the best in his retirement, as he looks forward to spending more time with his family.
Mark Turner, I-Ride
UK distributor I-Ride has appointed Mark Turner as brand manager for two brands in its portfolio. Turner will lead brands Orro Bikes and Fulcrum Wheels and brings a wealth of experience from the industry, having previously worked for brands such as Cambrian Tyres, Reilly Cycles and Science in Sport. “We are delighted to have Mark join our team, his passion and knowledge for the bike industry will enable us to continue
to give our customers the best possible service and help bring Orro and Fulcrum to the next level,” said an I-Ride statement. Turner said: “I’m delighted to have joined I-Ride and can’t

Max Heimann, Internetstores Group
Online sport retail and tech company Signa Sports United (SSU) has appointed Max Heimann as chief executive officer (CEO) of Internetstores Group. Heimann will lead SSU brands such as
Fahrrad.de,
Probikeshop, Addnature and Campz across Europe. He will join the firm in mid-August 2022 from Otto Group and will succeed Robert Polland, who has been interim CEO since
September 2021. At SSU, Heimann will be tasked with growing Internetstores into a connected platform for consumers, brands and retailers. “I am excited to join SSU at this point in their growth story and help to build on the success already
achieved,” said Heimann. “The bike and outdoor sectors are some of the fastest
growing in Europe and SSU and its leading brands are at the forefront of market development.”■
