Venezia has quickly established herself as a standout designer. From working on hit games like Ready Chef Go! and Trivia Party, to her pivotal role on Creative Assembly’s ill-fated Hyenas, she has demonstrated both exceptional skill and impressive leadership qualities that have not gone without notice. She also co-founded Nucleolus, a research driven studio that builds games for social good, and regularly puts time into helping other people and important causes.

Laura has made a huge impact in the games industry by mentoring aspiring developers, as well as fostering a stronger sense of community in general. Through initiatives like the Rocksteady x Ravensbourne mentorship scheme, delivering university lectures, and working with Grads in Games, she has helped many students to learn and progress. Her commitment to educating other people even extends to other countries, with her holding a GDC 2024 talk earlier in the year, and running new VFX community-driven events like ‘ExplosionTober” on the web.

In the span of only ten months, Jared had significantly boosted Sea of Thieves’ content output, showing himself to be a master of both social trends and formats like the vertical short video. His ability to swiftly create engaging content, collaborate across departments, and maintain positive vibes among fans of the long- running Xbox game have proven invaluable to his coworkers. On top of all his corporate work, he runs a personal channel full of entertaining machinima and stunning musical covers, too.
