NEWS ROUND UP Mars unveils 2025 innovations at NACS
Mars showcased new Mars Wrigley products at the 2024 National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Show in Las Vegas. With 93% of Americans within 10 minutes of a convenience store, Mars recognizes c-store shoppers’ adventurous nature and aims to offer variety through its latest innovations. “At Mars, our consumer obsession guides us to success,” said Tim LeBel, President of Sales at Mars Wrigley North America. “We’re exploring new formats and textures to drive trial and enthusiasm, reaching both core consumers and new audiences.”
Mars featured its Transaction Zone team at NACS, showcasing the PayPoint Optimiser technology—a tool that based on transaction history. The Mars
Foodservices team also introduced unique menu offerings featuring iconic brands like M&M’S® Minis and SNICKERS®. New products included:
• treats with a peanut butter centre.
• M&M’S® Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich: Combining M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Minis, sugar cookies, and peanut butter ice cream.
• SKITTLES® POP’d: A crunchy, crispy version of SKITTLES®
• SNICKERS® Dark Ice Cream Bars: Dark chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and chocolate-peanut butter ice cream.
• SNICKERS® Pecan: A new version of the classic candy bar with pecans.
• SNICKERS® Shapes: Fun-shaped chocolate bars available this holiday season.
