Welcome to the November edition of Kennedy’s Confection! As we wrap up the year and look ahead, the confectionery industry is as vibrant as ever, with the seasonal innovations and new product developments keeping the energy high. I know I have my eye on at least 7 different advent calendars this year!! This month, we dive into the latest industry news on page 6, where you can stay up to date on the key moves and milestones in the sector.
Our coverage of Fi Europe (page 8) brings a spotlight to groundbreaking
importance of health-conscious, sustainable offerings across the food and beverage space. Among some of the highlights were BENEO’s use of its faba bean ingredients, enabling them to create a sustainable alternative to dairy chocolate, seamlessly integrating it into existing production processes while maintaining that superior taste we have come to expect from chocolate! We also want to extend our huge congratulations to the winners of the Fi Europe Innovation Awards, which were announced at the show, breaking new ground in the food and drink industry is no easy task and here they had a chance to receive the recognition they deserve for their achievements. If interested in all things events related, take a look at our sneak peek on the upcoming ProSweets/ISM show in Cologne next year (page 12), where the future of confectionery trends and networking opportunities are set to wow attendees!
