The recipe builds on the success of Hotel Chocolat’s Spicy Maple filled chocolate, translating the established flavour combination into a drinking chocolate format. Pumpkin Spice returns with a warming blend of cinnamon, ginger and pumpkin, reflecting the continued appeal of seasonal flavours and limited-edition recipes.
Yiotis Panagiotou, said the launch demonstrates how the company is “finding new ways to deliver” flavours that already resonate with customers. “Spicy Maple started life as one of our filled chocolates, and we saw an opportunity to translate that into a completely different format,” he said. The drinking chocolates are priced at
£11.95 and can be prepared at home using a Velvetiser, steam wand or hob. Velvetiser Cafés will also serve both recipes as hot chocolates, choc shakes or mochas, extending the seasonal products across at- home and out-of-home occasions.

James Bond chocolate advent calendar launches for Christmas 2026
The world’s first James Bond Chocolate Advent Calendar has launched for Christmas 2026 through the official 007Store, in collaboration with British luxury chocolatier Charbonnel et Walker. The limited-edition calendar
celebrates all 25 official Bond films, from Dr. No (1962) to No Time To Die (2021), with 25 individually decorated milk and white chocolates paired with film-themed trivia questions. The handcrafted chocolates
feature sugar-stamped designs including bow ties, SPECTRE symbols and the iconic 007 mark. Each door focuses on a different film, with questions covering characters and villains, Q Branch gadgets and locations, alongside a British- made Charbonnel et Walker chocolate. The black and gold calendar
