The power of custom Tap into our toolbox of connector know-how. Work directly with our experienced product engineers to create a customized connector, or use our online Build-A-Part™ tool to configure one of our standard designs to meet the needs of your application. Advanced Interconnections can quickly design a customized solution for surface-mount socketing, or device package conversion, by combining extensive in-house technology, proprietary SMT solder-ball features, and 30+ years of design engineering experience. We offer options that are tailor-made to your needs.
Our 4-step connector customization process starts with an application assessment with one of our experienced product engineers, then we move right into project review. Once this is complete, we work with you to create a design solution followed by product manufacture. We provide a one-stop experience that will completely fulfill your project design needs.

Amphenol’s enhanced FMLB connectors feature a path for stray voltage to ground Amphenol Industrial Operations, a global leader in interconnect systems, has enhanced its Pre-Earth First Mate Last Break (FMLB) connectors. These enhanced products provide a path for any stray voltage to be shifted to a safe ground to avoid harming both the operator and voltage-sensitive equipment.
Meets safety requirements The Pre-Earth connectors are designed to meet the
safety requirements for a wide range of applications where a protective circuit from the ground to the shell is needed. These connectors feature a first mate, last break capability where the grounding pin engages prior to the engagement of the remaining pins, making any mating cycle electrically safe. Additional attributes include a receptacle with IP67 protection when unmated and plug when in the mated condition for superior moisture sealing and waterproofing; conformity with European safety standards of DIN VDE 0627; SAE AS50151 dimensions and performance; as well as being intermateable with MS 5015 and 97 series styles. This connector also meets the IEC/EN 61984 standard. For more information, please visit

Euroquartz launches new UK manufactured ruggedised clock oscillators with extended industrial temperature range
Frequency control specialist, Euroquartz has launched a new range of UK manufactured surface mount ruggedised clock oscillators offering an extended industrial operating temperature range from -40 to +105°C. A major advantage of these components is that they are manufactured in Euroquartz’s cleanroom facility in south west UK and are free of ITAR restrictions. Available on short lead times, the new EQXO-75UIE series
crystal oscillators offer high-reliability in a standard format 7x5mm SMD ceramic package with hermetically sealed metal lid. Designed by Euroquartz specifically for demanding industrial applications, 75UIE series components provide reliable operation
with good frequency stability across an extended industrial temperature range with mechanical shock survivability tested to 1500g (MIL-STD-883K Method 2002.5, Condition B). Temperature stability specification options available are ±50, ±75 and ±100ppm with tighter options upon request (conditions dependent).

Thermal management of PCBs bonding copper to aluminium
DK-Daleba have developed a new patent pending Direct Thermal Exchange Technology To move heat away from components the common method is the use of conduction through the circuit to a heatsink or cold plate; example – IMS aluminium backed boards.
DTE – Direct Thermal Exchange
Technology removes the thermal bottleneck of a metal core IMS, the dielectric, with a direct copper connection. These connections are sometimes called Pedestals and with the dielectric being bypassed the heat goes straight to the thermal metal base layer.
DTE has until now required a copper base
layer which is heavy and expensive. DK-Daleba now have a patent pending technology where the plated copper connection can connect to aluminium which is lighter and cheaper. Our technology ensures the copper does not separate from the aluminium base and has passed 1,000 cycles for thermal shock. DK-Daleba, Orland House, Mead Lane, Hertford SG13 7AT +44 (0)1992 510000

OKW's elegant new EVOTEC 150 sloping top enclosures OKW has extended its EVOTEC range of designer table-top plastic enclosures with a new sloping top version of its 150 size.
Soft-contoured EVOTEC electronic enclosures are elegant and ergonomic – but robust enough to withstand challenging working environments. Applications include measurement and control, IT, IoT/IIoT, gateways, medical, laboratory and environmental technology. New EVOTEC 150 Version III features a recessed top that is inclined by 12° for more comfortable viewing and operation. Its large operating area can accommodate switches, pushbuttons and touch displays. This two-part enclosure is assembled with tamperproof Torx stainless steel screws, a key requirement for medical devices. PCBs can be fitted to screw pillars in the top and bottom. Rubber feet ensure stable positioning on flat surfaces. OKW now offers sloping top versions of EVOTEC in three sizes: 150 (150 x 93 x 36 mm), 200 (200 x 124 x 45 mm) and 250 (250 x 155 x 54 mm). The latter two sizes can be specified with a recessed (Version II) or smooth (Version III) top. Visit the OKW website for further information:
