As fi ntech adoption grows, so too does awareness of fi nancial wellbeing. GLOBAL GROWTH AND A NEW IDENTITY
Yaspa’s international expansion comes at a pivotal time for the business. In October, the company unveiled a new brand identity designed to refl ect its growth and maturity as it enters new markets. The rebrand marks Yaspa’s evolution from an early-stage fi ntech to a global payments intelligence platform – one built on simplicity, transparency and human connection. With a cleaner visual identity and a renewed focus on making payments intelligence-led, Yaspa is helping operators and merchants connect with their customers in real time through trusted, data-driven experiences.
This momentum is underpinned by strong growth. Yaspa has expanded from 15 to 70 employees in the past 18 months and recently secured a $12 million investment round led by Discerning Capital. The company is now accelerating international expansion with a new US entity based in Atlanta, Georgia, alongside a new tech hub in Leeds, UK.
Unlike Europe’s regulator-led open banking framework, the US system is commercially driven.
Companies like Plaid and MX have already built key bank connections, and data access fees are shaping the landscape. For Yaspa, this is less a threat than an evolution. “Pricing models differ wildly across markets,” says Neville. “It’ll harmonise over time but we’re focused on delivering value where it matters.”
