Beko debuts new 10 Year Parts Guarantee for its products
Beko has unveiled its new 10 Year Parts Guarantee for selected appliances, offering consumers added peace of mind and reassurance when purchasing products. This is in addition to any eligible Beko one or two Year Labour Guarantees.
The manufacturer said this 6
reflects its confidence in the durability and quality of its appliances, providing customers with free Beko parts to repair
registered products. In doing so, Beko is taking a small step forward to make repairing the products easier and more appealing, helping to minimise appliance waste and extend the life of products by encouraging customers to repair instead of repurchasing. To support this launch, Beko has unveiled a refreshed product registration page that spotlights the brand’s three product guarantees, allowing users to identify which guarantee they are eligible for with ease. Beko has also invested in a retail activation plan to further amplify the launch of its new 10 Year Parts Guarantee. To support the end-to-end consumer purchase journey, retailers will have access to engaging POS materials, digital assets, and updated training materials. Beko will showcase the guarantee through social media, targeted email marketing, and a media campaign.

Jonathan Sutherland has been named by Exertis as Sales Director – Retail, in a move which expands his remit to cover all Consumer Sales. Mr Sutherland has been at Exertis for 14 years and has held the role of Sales and Commercial Director for Microsoft and Gaming for the last 18 months. One of

Hoover announces new Brand Ambassador for Ireland
Irish chef, Edward Hayden, has been announced as the new Brand Ambassador for Hoover in Ireland. The move will see the chef, food writer and culinary
lecturer, who is very well-known to audiences from his weekly cookery slots on Virgin Media’s Ireland AM, promote the brand’s built-in cooking credentials and showcase its range of cooling products. This will run across social media and digital activities with influencer content and recipe footage and attendance at trade and media days at the heart of the activities.
Hoover is also supplying The Edward Hayden School of Cookery with several products from its COLLECTION 7 cooking range, including warming drawers, induction hobs and hoods and within its cooling range, a two-door fridge freezer and wine cellar, to support recreational cookery classes. “I’m a big believer in having the finest cooking appliances to work with,” Mr Hayden commented. “It makes cooking much more enjoyable and also helps so much when demonstrating cooking skills to others.”
