The former comes with the ActiFlex function and versatile attachments so consumers can reach every corner, while also having a long battery life of up to 45 minutes. Then the Robot Vacuum Cleaner provides the consumer
with convenience, as it automatically cleans carpets and hard floors, with suction of 2,000 Pa. It is equipped with a convenient mopping attachment and programmable cleaning intervals, and it also returns to the charging station when it is low on battery. Vijay Bhardwaj, Marketing Director at Beko, explains how the SDA market has changed significantly. He says: “Manufacturers are increasingly focused on creating sleek and modern appliances that seamlessly fit into contemporary kitchen spaces. Smart technology integration is also on the rise, with many SDAs featuring Wi-Fi connectivity and smartphone app control for enhanced convenience and useability. “There is a growing emphasis on multi- functionality, with appliances designed to perform various tasks, catering to consumers’ desire for versatile and space-saving solutions.” The low price point of SDAs and the urgent need for cooking and cleaning products has supported a rapid revival in the industry. With the all-important ‘golden quarter’ just around the corner, it will be interesting to see how sales of these gadgets fare in the market.
