RS Connect Shannon showcases latest industrial innovations

RS Ireland successfully hosted its latest RS Connect event at the LCETB Shannon Aviation Maintenance School in Co. Limerick. The event brought together more than 250 customers, product and service suppliers and students for a day of networking, product discovery and practical demonstrations. The event featured 25 leading

suppliers, each showcasing innovative products, technologies and services spanning a broad range of industrial sectors, including automation, electrical, maintenance, safety, test and measurement, and industrial manufacturing solutions. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with supplier representatives, explore emerging technologies and gain practical insights into products designed to improve efficiency, productivity and performance across a range of

industrial operations. RS Connect events are designed to create meaningful connections between customers and suppliers, allowing participants to experience products first-hand and discuss industry challenges and opportunities together with technical specialists and the RS team.

Commenting on the success of

the event, Gary Bradley, Country Manager for RS Ireland, said: “RS Connect events are always a fantastic opportunity for our suppliers and customers to come together, get to know one another and build stronger business relationships. They give attendees the chance to see, explore and gain hands-on experience with some of the latest products and technologies available in the market today. “We were delighted to welcome more than 150 customers to

Shannon and would like to thank all 25 suppliers who helped make the event such a success. Homevalue Annual Golf Classic raises over €50,000 for Barretstown

Homevalue hosted its second Annual Golf Classic in support of Barretstown on Thursday 10th September at Glasson Lakehouse, raising over €50,000 to support children and families affected by serious illness. The event returned following the success of Homevalue’s inaugural Golf Classic in 2025, which raised €40,164 for Barretstown. Last year’s event brought together 27 teams and marked an important early milestone in the charity partnership between the two organisations. This year, 27 teams of four again took part in

a day of golf and fundraising, helping the event build further momentum in its second year. The event received strong backing from Homevalue suppliers and partners, whose participation and contributions helped maximise the amount raised for Barretstown. Paul Candon, CEO of United Hardware, which operates the Homevalue brand, said: “Following the success of our first Golf Classic last year, it was fantastic to see this year’s event receive such strong support once again. We are delighted to have raised over €50,000
