Welcome to the September/October issue of Irish Manufacturing
I
t’s great to welcome you back to another issue of Irish Manufacturing. Last month Cinnamon and I travelled to Lisburn for the Northern Ireland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference and PPMA, in Birmingham, it was great to meet so many readers and contributors too.
Both shows highlighted the importance of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain industries in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland as well as giving us more knowledge on the particular strengths of the companies we were lucky enough to meet and talk to. Next month we will be heading to the Republic of Ireland for Plastics Live (Page 30) and the All Ireland Water & Wastewater Conference.
If these shows are anything like the ones we attended this autumn,
then it will be a brilliant way to round off a busy year, in which I have learnt so much about multiple industries, a phase I very much wish to carry on going forward.
If you are also attending either of these events, please do get in touch with us as we’d love to meet as many of you as possible.
This issue covers a broad range of topics, from modern construction methods (Page 14) to injection moulding and plastics (Page 26-31) and data centres (Page 34-43).
Thank you as well to our Front cover sponsor for this issue Simco-Ion, make sure to give their story a read on page 10, to fi nd out more about how electrostatic attraction could be behind your cleanroom problems and how you can combat it.
There is so much to get stuck into, perhaps sat next to a fi re with a hot drink, or a pint as the days get colder and darker. Or maybe you’re reading this at the start of the day.
Either way I hope you enjoy it.

Running your operation comes with enough challenges. Managing your industrial filtration systems doesn’t have to be one of them.
