TECHNOLOGY IN ACTION u ADVERTORIALS LET THERE BE LIGHT WITH MAKITA

The new portable ML014G Tower Light from Makita provides bright task lighting on con- struction sites where there is no power source. Compatible with both 18V LXT and 40V XGT bat- teries, and providing a maximum luminous flux of 15,000 lumens, the Makita Tower Light is easy to carry and set up. Furthermore, the cordless, battery-operated site light offers true flexibility; trade professionals can adjust both the height and light angle extensively, to suit the applica- tion and provide optimal illumination.

The ML014G Tower Light features an integrated tripod, offering simple and stable set up via a slide handle. Highly adaptable, users can manually adjust its height ranging from 1,085mm to 2,430mm. Crucially, the light angle can be adapted too. Designed to be as flexible as possible, its light base is combined with three separate light heads that can individually rotate 180 degrees vertically and horizontally.

Kevin Brannigan, Marketing Manager at Makita concluded: “With excellent portability, the new ML014G Tower Light addresses all of the key challenges when it comes to providing illumination on construction sites. Even with no mains power source available, users can get themselves set up and ready to work quickly and easily,

benefitting from a wide, bright, adjustable light of 5000 Kelvins.”

Finally, when used in combination with the powerful and reliable Makita BL4080F and BL18120 Li-Ion batteries, the new ML014G Tower Light can achieve an impres- sive run time of 48 hours at its minimum light level and 3.6 hours at its maximum.

NEW ROLLER CONVEYOR COMBINES MODULAR DESIGN WITH INTELLIGENT CONTROL

The new RBF 2000 roller conveyor from mk Technology Group offers machine builders and system integrators a flexible solution for trans- porting, buffering and handling containers, boxes and trays weighing up to 55 kg. Designed for applications including production

logistics, internal material handling, picking and distribution, the RBF 2000 combines modular construction with intelligent control. Conveyor widths range from 320 to 700 mm, with speeds of up to 60 m/min and a total load capacity of 400 kg. Intelligent accumulation Using 24V motorised rollers and zone control,

the RBF 2000 provides zero-pressure accumulation (ZPA). Sensors monitor individual conveyor zones, ensuring products stop before contacting those ahead and are released automatically when the next zone becomes available. This minimises product damage while making efficient use of available space. Control options range from decentralised systems operating without a higher-level PLC to integration within more complex, PLC-controlled automation systems. Flexible, modular design A range of standard modules, including straight sections, 45° and 90° curves, alignment conveyors, transfer

units and infeed and outfeed modules, allows engineers to configure layouts around specific production requirements. The system can also be combined with other mk conveyor technologies. Anodised aluminium profiles provide a robust frame, with cables routed internally for a clean installation. Integrated sensors and a roller mounting system designed for straightforward replacement further support practical installa- tion and maintenance. The RBF 2000 complements mk Technology Group’s extensive conveyor portfolio.

In the UK and Ireland, the system is available exclusively through AdaptTech Manufacturing Solutions, which provides expert advice on conveyor selection, configuration and integration.

FIBOX EXPANDS ITS PROVEN ARCA IEC RANGE

Fibox has expanded its proven ARCA IEC range with a transparent door, giving engineers clear visibility of critical equip- ment while maintaining protection in demanding environments. As cabinets house more displays, interfaces and LED indicators, regular monitoring is essential. The ARCA transparent door enables operators to check equipment without opening the enclosure, helping protect against dust, moisture and accidental contact while supporting safer working and faster responses. Engineered as a single-moulded polycarbonate component, the

door combines robust impact resistance and watertightness with a professional appearance. Its smoked, UV-stabilised material helps preserve visibility during prolonged sunlight exposure. Compatible with the wider ARCA IEC range and accessories, it

offers flexibility alongside corrosion resistance, durability and out- door performance. Applications include renewable energy, water and wastewater, automation and traffic control. By simplifying routine inspections, the ARCA IEC transparent

door supports efficient maintenance, reduces unnecessary cabinet opening and helps operators identify potential issues before they escalate.
