ollowing its launch, the new Herb Tubes from Seedball scooped the
‘Best New Product Award’ in the giſts category at Glee. Each illustrated tube contains 20 seed balls, each filled with seeds from aromatic herbs including, basil, chive, mint, parsley and wild rocket salad. The herbs not only add delicious flavour to our favourite dishes, but the plants also provide vital food for pollinators. When left to bloom, each herb bursts with wonderful wildflowers, offering a colourful display in the garden, as well as a hearty meal for bees, butterflies and other beneficial bugs. The Herb Tubes each cover
approximately one square metre, or three to five medium sized pots, perfect for wildlife gardens, window boxes, patios and balconies. The vibrant, floral designs of the tubes make the product particularly eye- catching and are guaranteed to be a customer favourite in the approach to the gifting season. The new Herb Tubes can be

otr, the creators of the world’s first flat- packed, self-watering
planters, has been announced as the winners of this year’s prestigious GIMA Innovators Seed Corn Fund, with Andrew Flynn, founder and designer at Potr, receiving the accolade during the opening day of Glee . Potr’s planters, not only champion sustainability through the use of 100% recycled material but they also open up exciting new opportunities for plant subscription services and gifting, redefining how consumers can access and enjoy gardening.
The letterbox-friendly, flat-pack
design solves many logistical challenges of traditional plant pot shipping, offering a more convenient and accessible solution for today’s eco-conscious consumers. Plus, with a CO2 footprint over 100 times smaller than a conventional planter, Potr’s products are a breakthrough in sustainable design. This drastic reduction in environmental impact is achieved through their IP-protected flat-pack system, which uses minimal materials and 100% recycled plastic, making Potr a leader in eco-friendly gardening solutions.
As the ninth recipient of the
GIMA Innovators Seed Corn Fund, Potr will receive an incredible prize fund package, comprising a grant of up to £6,000 that includes a year’s full GIMA membership, plus a wide range of business support tools including free exhibition space at Glee.
