The lunchtime event provided guests with the perfect opportunity to network with their peers during a drinks reception and three-course meal, as well as the chance to revel in and celebrate the successes of their industry. A total of 19 accolades were presented across categories rewarding excellence, innovation and outstanding achievements by suppliers and retailers alike. Marcus Brigstocke, the awards lunch also had the important job of raising funds for industry charity, the Rainy Day Trust. Generous donations from guests on the day


resulted in a contribution of £880 to help the Trust continue in its vital work of supporting those in the industry who have fallen on hard times or who just need a helping hand. A sale of some of the products entered into the awards and kindly donated by suppliers will take place in coming weeks, with the proceeds also donated to the Trust.
