Customers and colleagues have helped Bents Garden & Home raise an incredible amount for its 2017 Charity of the Year.

A total of £22,100 has been

presented to Alzheimer’s Society by Bents, which will use the donation to help people living in the Warrington and surrounding areas.

Decco raises £1,750 in Hanging Man

To help celebrate the Rainy Day Trust’s 175th anniversary and fundraising drive, the manager of Decco’s Leeds distribution centre, Andrew Ballantine was literally left hanging, as he became the latest industry figure to prove the strength of Henkel’s Loctite brand. The stunt took place at Decco’s

recent Leeds trade show at York Racecourse and, with the aid of the exhibiting Henkel team, Andrew undertook the Loctite Hanging Man Challenge, which replicates the Henkel TV advertisement for Loctite SuperGlue. As a result, £1,750.00 was raised for the Rainy Day Trust’s #Challenge175.

Commenting on the experience,

Andrew said: “Not something I’d recommend anyone to try at home, but thanks to Henkel, I felt I was in safe hands. It was a great way to raise money for the industry charity and I’d like to thank all the exhibiting Decco suppliers and all the Decco customers who came along and supported the cause.”
