2. Composite Prime expands offering The luxury decking system HD Deck Pro from Composite Prime is an extra-wide decking board offering an opulent alternative to timber decking. It has all the feel of a wooden board, but with the benefits of a composite. The 200mm composite board is made from a mix of FSC-certified hardwood flour and recycled plastics. HD Deck Pro is available in two shades, Champagne (a pearl cream) and Oyster (soft grey). Matching fascia and bullnose boards are available, and is installedusing Composite Prime’s hidden clip system.

4. W Howard simplifies period styling
The new MDF Wall Panelling Kit from
W.Howard Group comes complete with everything needed to create a high-quality Period ‘tongue-and-groove’ style finish. Each kit comes with a ready primed skirting and a dado rail, and one including eight primed MDF beaded panels. Once fitted, each kit can cover up to 2.32m of wall space. The 10mm rebate lip designed into both the skirting and the dado rail provides space in which the beaded panels sit, so that each panel slots into place. The kit is fixed into place using adhesive and mitre glue. Filling can be with standard filler or caulk before the primed MDF is painted.

5. Setcrete Latex proves popular choice for builders Setcrete Latex is a low odour, self-smoothing floor levelling compound for use in light to medium traffic internal areas prior to the installation of new floorcoverings.
It is suitable for use over a wide range of absorbent subfloor types including sand/cement screed and concrete, as well as non-absorbent subfloors such as ceramics, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins and quarry tiles. It is also suitable for use over underfloor heating installations. It can be applied at thicknesses between 2-10mm and is walk on hard in around two hours.

The solvent- free formulation of LOCTITE PC 6315 makes it suitable for odour sensitive environments such as wineries, food processing facilities, hospitals and other confined areas. LOCTITE PC 6261 is a single-part epoxy, primarily designed for application in areas of high pedestrian footfall or light rolling traffic. Both products are suitable for use in dry service temperatures from -29°C to +60°C.

7. Redland Mini Stonewold stands up to high winds The BMI Redland Mini Stonewold Slate in grey has been used on the roof of a new facility for elderly and vulnerable members of the community in the Orkney Islands, where winds regularly top 130mph. The Mini Stonewold range has interlocking edges to simplify installation and can be laid at pitches as low as 17.5° in both new build and refurbishment projects. Seven colours are available: Black, Breckland brown, Charcoal grey, Farmhouse Red, Slate grey, Terracotta and Tudor brown. The Mini Stonewold is fully compatible with a range of dry-fix fittings.
