Distributor E. Tupling, celebrated its 55th birthday last month and to mark the occasion, hosted a momentous outdoor event at their Warrington Distribution centre with more than 150 merchant customers, manufacturers and key industry personnel frpm as far as Kent, Wales and Scotland.


15 leading UK building plastics and underfloor heating manufacturers, who E. Tupling distribute for, fully championed the event and each showcased several new and innovative ranges. Supported by numerous demonstrations, informative conversations and free samples. E. Tupling utilised the event as a platform


to also launch their new Plumbing and Building Plastics and Underfloor Heating Catalogues.


Claire Briars, head of marketing at E. Tupling said, “The event was meticulously planned to provide a captivating, fun and informative networking experience, including personalised guided tours of our 25,000sq.ft. warehouse and offices, free food and drink all day, 15 manufacturer exhibitions, an inflatable football shootout, a crazy golf championship, superb raffle prizes and the opportunity to meet the entire team for the first time since the relocation to the new site due to lockdowns and restrictions.”


PJH would walk 21,020 miles


Bathrooms, appliances, sinks and taps distributor, PJH, has donated £5,000 to ‘NHS Charities Together’, thanks to its staff completing its ‘Wellbeing Team Challenge’ which tasked employees to collectively travel a Globe Union-spanning 21,020 miles from walking, cycling, running, swimming, and kayaking.

PJH, asked its employees to travel the world together, ‘virtually’ by any self-powered wellbeing activity in just 60 days. Team PJH collectively covered a distance equivalent to a round trip from the UK via visited some of parent company, Globe Union’s many sites - such as Mexico, Montreal, Germany, Shenzhen China and Taiwan. Richard George, CEO, PJH, said: “Good mental and physical health is extremely important, and the Wellbeing Team Challenge was designed to bring everyone that bit closer together and promote activities that foster a sense of wellbeing. The success of this challenge proves just how close we are as a team, and the accompanying £5,000 raised for NHS Charities Together is a vote of thanks from us all for the incredible work by the NHS throughout this pandemic.”
