BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS Methven goes virtual

Methven’s virtual showroom allows customers to explore its product range from the comfort of their office or home. The highly detailed online experience replicates the setting of Methven’s Warrington Experience Centre, allowing users to look at products on display alongside their specs and imagery, as well as marketing materials such as brochures and videos.

It means customers get an opportunity to build their understanding of the different ranges and technology, such as how the twin-jet Satinjet technology is suited to different markets, as well as seeing alternative products.

too, for the perfect combination. The latest addition to the designer RAK-Cloud collection from RAK Ceramics, for examples, is a direct not to trend for dark, sophisticated shades in the bathroom, with sanitaryware in a new matt black finish.

“The enduring appeal of matt can be highlighted by showcasing a range of products featuring this sleek aesthetic, while educating customers about the durability and versatility of matte finishes can help seal the deal and keep them coming back for more.” At distributor PJH, head of marketing and product Kim Cooper agrees that merchants are uniquely positioned to capitalise on trends by offering an array of distinctive, on-trend products.

She says: “Our new Bathrooms2GO range of products is designed to streamline the purchasing and selection processes, making it easier for tradespeople and end customers alike to find complete, coordinated bathroom products and suites. By focusing on ready availability with products like WC2GO, which are perfectly suited for trade counter environments with their boxed, stackable design, PJH empowers merchants to make the most of their space while ensuring they can quickly meet customer demands.” She also says that PJH Bathroom’s to Love collection incorporates the latest design trends, with this season’s trend being a move towards the “natural” style – using inspiration from the outdoor world.

From nature’s calming hues to “touchy feely” textures and finishes, Cooper explains that it aims to reflected the consumer’s

owel rails are no longer just about somewhere to hang your threadbare towel before you get out of the tub. They are an integral part of the bathroom’s overall design, and their popularity has never been higher. Demand for these purchases has reflected the interest generated by property programmes on TV and some of the outrageous designs seen in celebrities’ bathrooms and en-suites, according to Stelrad.

Chris Harvey, head of marketing at Stelrad Radiator Group, says: “The market for decorative and designer radiators has burgeoned in the past decade and the annual market for them is now well over a million units per year, reflected in the wider number of companies manufacturing and distributing these important heating appliances.

“We offer a wide range of options which are now available in anthracite grey from stock, which can blend so well with other décor and add that additional style to many bathrooms and kitchens.

He adds that monochrome bathroom and kitchens are very much back in style, and that the addition of a metallic radiator to traditional black and white can really add that luxurious look.

Stelrad has launched a series of electric radiators to feature alongside its wet heating system ranges; a wide selection of electric towel rails is now available from stock. “The new range includes a number of exciting new products – like the Stelrad Electric Agata and the Agata E-Flow - a straight, flat tube towel rail design, featuring five banks of three tubes with spaces between each bank, available in three sizes in both white and anthracite grey. It combines modern design with functional heating and energy saving features,” he says. “The E-Flow towel rails in the range feature a fan heater at the base of the towel rail and

increasing pursuit of wellness and tranquillity. “Our new Bathrooms to Love Spring Summer Collection leads this trend, blending a palette of soft greens, blues, greys, and pinks with engaging tactile surfaces. We’ve enriched our offerings with sensory textures like soft fluting, geometric patterns, and super-matt finishes across a range of products, from furniture to wetroom glass panels, and freestanding baths to washbowls,” says Cooper.

include manual controls for individual use of the towel rail or the fan heater, or both together as a three-in-one unit.” If aluminium is more up a customer’s street, Stelrad offers its Stelrad Electric Alu Simple Dry and Simple Fluid - available in three sizes in either white or anthracite grey. The matching colour digital thermostat is included with each model along with its remote control. It’s a sassy design for any style room – that looks at home in any surroundings.

Harvey says: “The Stelrad Electric Cobalto and Cobalto E-Flow – a trendsetting flat tube towel rail combines captivating good looks with exceptional heating efficiency and offers a sensational solution for heating in the home. An answer to those selection headaches when seeking a modish addition to the home’s décor, the Cobalto is simply stunning. As with the Agata the Cobalto E-Flow towel rails feature a fan heater at the base of the towel rail and include manual controls for individual use of the towel rail or the fan heater, or both together as a three in one unit.

“Not to be overlooked there is the Stelrad Electric Fantasia a mirage of a tubular towel rail – available in white or anthracite to match or contrast with colour schemes and designs in the home. The Stelrad Electric Series provides a range of exciting new options where direct electric heating is the chosen option for a home.” BMJ

She highlights that PJH’s proactive approach to following the latest trends provides advantages to merchants because it allows them to stock the latest on-trend products. The company also offers Next Day Delivery to branch across 93% of postcodes. Cooper says that PJH remains committed to supporting markets with a range of marketing support such as its Bathrooms2GO, a brochure stand, which provides eye-catching point-of- sale materials. BMJ
