The category directors are all time-served experienced buyers in their own businesses, and trading director Phil Woolford says that between them, the team of category directors have hundreds of years of experience. “If you have a buyer in one business who arranges a deal and say they will have that product in all their branches, that’s one thing, from our point of view, whoever is doing the buying for the Fortis group then has to make sure that they communicate that out to the membership.” BMJ
