AWARDS 2023 BMJ INDUSTRY

AWARDS 2023 There are fewer than 10 weeks until the BMJ Industry Awards 2023 gala presentation takes place. Here’s what you need to know in the run-up to the event of the Autumn.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH:

If you don’t snap them up then someone else will. Then look out for the email from our BMJ Events team, and let them know who you’ve got coming.

I’ve booked a table: what do I do now? Again, make sure you invite the people you want, and let the Events team know in plenty of time.

When and where is the presentation? The gala lunch presentation takes place on THURSDAY September 28th, starting at 12pm for drinks. The venue is the Art-Deco splendour of the DeVere Grand Connaught Rooms, just off London’s Covent Garden.

Who is hosting the event?

I’ve been nominated: what do I do now? The voting portal has opened for the 2023 BMJ Industry Awards, the only industry awards that is voted for by the people who work in the industry day-in-day-out. If you’ve been nominated then head over to the website at www.bmjindustryawards. co.uk/marketingmaterial and download the marketing banners and files that you can use to promote your entry to all your staff, customers and suppliers.

I want to vote for my favourite: what do I do now?

The nominations are on the website at www. bmjindustryawards.co.uk/vote and are also listed on the next two pages. Take a look, decide your favourites and head to the website. You can vote only once in each category.

I’m a sponsor: what do I do now? It’s a hugely popular event, so make sure that you get the customers you want on your table by inviting them earlier rather than later.

Once again, we welcome the award-winning comedian, TV presenter and chat-show host, Patrick Keilty, as host of the event. Keitly has appeared on shows such as Channel 4’s Last Chance Lottery, The National Lottery Big Ticket, Patrick Kielty Almost Live, Stupid Punts and Fame Academy. In 2007, Keilty interviewed Tony Blair and Bertie Ahern about the Northern Ireland Peace Process, and in 2018, presented a documentary, My Dad, the Peace Deal and Me for BBC Two. The programme, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, explored the state of Northern Ireland two decades on from the Agreement. This year, it was confirmed that Keilty would take-over as the new host of RTÉ’s The Late Late Show, from Ryan Tubridy. BMJ
