BMF joins Build North Expo 2025: Bringing the industry together
The BMF has partnered with Crosby Media to support a new exhibition in the North West focused on the construction/ building materials sector. The BMF has a stand at the event, which will also run alongside a BMF regional meeting for merchant members in the area to be held in the morning at the same impressive venue.
The Build North Expo will be held on Thursday 20th February 2025 at Bolton Wanderers FC Stadium. The Expo is completely free to visit and will feature exclusive guest speakers, covering a wide range of subjects relevant to the sector, as well as a bustling exhibition hall showcasing high-quality service providers.

Dragon Boat Racing is one of the world’s oldest sports, originating in China over 2,500 years ago. Teams of 11 race against each other in a series of qualifying timed races, culminating in a Grand Final race and the presentation of trophies. Who can take part?
“We’ll outline essential tips for conducting successful research, highlight common pitfalls to avoid, and offer guidance on how to retain and satisfy your existing customers, while attracting new ones, ultimately helping you to grow.” The organisers are keen to bring more events like this supporting the building materials and construction sectors to the North of England as most such exhibitions tend to take place in the South or Midlands.

Each team has a minimum of 11 people (10 rowers and a drummer who keeps the pace). Teams can bring up to 22 people and share the different heats if desired and organisations can enter as many tams as they wish. No prior experience or racing skill is required. Merchants and suppliers with an interest in the sanitary and HVAC
