AND FINALLY Keyline rallies the troops for charity car race

Civils specialist Keyline headed off on its annual Keyline Rally at the end of last month, raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. Driving with the theme Cartoons, participants and their cost-less-than-£1500-cars drove 1,800 miles to Italy and back over the course of five days. There were 23 cars split into four cartoon named teams. Paul Beaman, managing

director at Keyline, said: “It is such an exciting milestone for everyone, to be celebrating 10 years of hosting the rally and supporting such a great cause. Everyone should be so proud of all of the funds raised and the awareness generated amongst men in the most susceptible age group. This rally is just one of the many ways that we show our continued support to Prostate Cancer UK” . To donate please visit and donate https:// keylinerally.co.uk

Witham company helps

raise thousands for charity Five colleagues from Scott Parnell in Witham have helped raise over £5,000 for charity following a 55- mile bike ride.

Rachael Adamson, Joe Folan, Jenny Burton, Alan Sweap and Mark Simpkins, who were part of a cycling team called Charlie’s Angels, took on the Anderson Charity Bike Ride, a picturesque but challenging route around the pretty villages of Essex. The event was to raise funds for the National Autistic Society, which provides information, support

and pioneering services for those living with autism. Adamson, Director South East at Scott Parnell, said: “The day started out as wet and windy, making it extremely difficult and challenging as we had a 40mph head wind for most of the ride. However, we finished the route with the sun shining and the team smiling.” To make a donation to the Scott Parnell teamvisit www. uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ charliesangels2019.

The IPG peddle ahead

On Sunday 16th June 2019, The IPG team got in to gear to participate in the London to Brighton Bike Ride in aid of their chosen charity partner, Missing People #find every child; a charity that supports the families who are missing a loved one or struggling to keep a frequent runaway safe. The team of 15 was made up of IPG staff, their members, and a representative from Missing

The event entailed a challenging 54-mile ride through the Sussex and Surrey countryside. The team set off from Clapham Common, London and finished on Brighton Beach the same afternoon. Nike Lovell, Head of Marketing said “The IPG team had a great

former England player Tony Cottee. In total, 10 teams competed in a series of matches throughout the afternoon testing their skills and prowess alongside the legends. The winning team, which included Paul Walsh, was Days Nights from Day Aggregates who beat Bretts Bullets 3-2 on penalties after drawing 0-0. Paul Duke, Sales Director at Rudridge, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took part.”

sense of camaraderie, I feel inspired by their efforts, team spirit and drive. I was excited to cheer them on and welcome them to the finishing line!” To date, there has been a staggering amount of kindness from all members, customers, family, and friends.
