New Diploma Course for BMF Supplier Member Staff

The BMF has always been well known for its range of highly regarded training courses for merchant staff development. Less well-known is the wide range of building materials supplier staff courses that are also available. Supplier- focused courses cover most of the roles within a typical supplier’s business and provide a comprehensive training and development resource for supplier BMF members. The BMF has had a very popular ‘Diploma’ course for its merchant members for many years. Following requests from BMF supplier members, a new supplier version of this course is now going to be introduced. The Diploma in Supplier Management is being rolled out this Spring with the first module starting in April 2024. In total, the part-time course will consist of nine modules spread over a 12-18 month period and it is ideally suited to supplier sales and management level staff. The course covers a range of practical management issues including managing yourself, managing others, managing processes and managing change. Attendees will learn key managerial skills and how to apply them once they are back at work. There are nine written papers (one per learning module) to complete and two work-related projects which will allow delegates to demonstrate the practical application of the tools and techniques covered by the programme.
