Christmas card competition from W. Howard

W.Howard organised a Christmas card competition for children at Gilded Hollins Community Primary School in Leigh, Lancashire.

Every child was given a W.Howard tree template and asked to design a Christmas tree to be used on W.Howard’s

company Christmas card. Designs were submitted by all 209 pupils and a winner was chosen from each class. National account manager at W.Howard Group, Rob Povah, visited Gilded Hollins on November 29 to present the winners with their prizes. Each child who submitted a winning design received an artist collection gift box, while every child in the school received a chocolate selection box as a thank you for taking part. Rob Povah said: “The winning designs have now been turned into Christmas cards and we look forward to our customers receiving them soon. “We would like to thank every pupil, and all of the staff at Gilded Hollins Community Primary School, for all the effort and hard work they put into the designs. We were blown away by the children’s creativity, which made picking the winners exceptionally tough!”

The panel agreed this could be set up with minimal delay and trialled regionally.
