1. Brett Martin enhances building security Brett Martin’s Mardome Trade rooflights have achieved Secured by Design accreditation. Individual fixings are concealed inside security caps and removal of these caps to gain access is extremely difficult. The polycarbonate rooflights also have good resistance to impact, making breakage very difficult. Mardome Trade (SBD option) has been independently tested and assessed generally in accordance with PAS24:2016:Annex C by BBA, which confirms that it can contribute to satisfying the regulatory requirements for unauthorised access in new and existing dwellings. Makita UK has expanded its accessories range with two new radios. The DMR301 and MR007G are designed to withstand tough site conditions. The DMR301 DAB/DAB+ Job Site Radio is compatible with both LXT and CXT batteries and is the first job site radio in Makita’s line-up to offer battery charging (when powered by the mains using an AC adaptor).
