1. Brett Martin enhances building security Brett Martin’s Mardome Trade rooflights have achieved Secured by Design accreditation. Individual fixings are concealed inside security caps and removal of these caps to gain access is extremely difficult. The polycarbonate rooflights also have good resistance to impact, making breakage very difficult. Mardome Trade (SBD option) has been independently tested and assessed generally in accordance with PAS24:2016:Annex C by BBA, which confirms that it can contribute to satisfying the regulatory requirements for unauthorised access in new and existing dwellings. Secured by Design is part of Police Crime Prevention Initiatives, a police owned organisation that works on behalf of the Police Service to deliver a wide range of crime prevention and demand reduction initiatives across the UK.

2. Ibstock’s I-Range
Ibstock’s I-Range comprises more than 100 bricks, over 20 of which are new products and includes a wide range of brick types, colours, textures and sizes from wirecuts and stocks, to waterstrucks and genuine handmade bricks to long format options and the widest range of glazed bricks in the UK. Makita UK has expanded its accessories range with two new radios. The DMR301 and MR007G are designed to withstand tough site conditions. The DMR301 DAB/DAB+ Job Site Radio is compatible with both LXT and CXT batteries and is the first job site radio in Makita’s line-up to offer battery charging (when powered by the mains using an AC adaptor).
4. Knightsbridge shaver light Knightsbridge has designed its latest shaver light with a concealed dual USB charger as well as an integral dual voltage shaver socket. The SL6USB LED Shaver Light is available in three finishes: chrome, white and matt black (SL6USBC, SL6USBW and SL6USBMB). Constructed from robust polycarbonate, this 230V 6W shaver light is easy to clean and produces a warm white light and is rated to IP20. It complements the SLULED, a 230V LED shaver/shelf light with a USB port and a single voltage shaver socket. The glass shelf can support loads of up to 2kg, while the unit itself has a polished chrome finish and an opal diffuser. If no USB is required, Knightsbridge offers the SLIGHT2, a white polycarbonate LED shaver light with a dual voltage socket, covering all the essentials.
