5. P C Henderson Release New Rustic Bypass System


P C Henderson has announced a new sliding barn door system which caters for bypassing doors weighing up to 40kg. Rustic Bypass is the latest addition to the company’s wide range of sliding barn door style systems. The system runs on one 3m track, making it extremely easy to install - and is provided with all of the required components to hang two bypassing doors. Available in a stunning matt black finish the system caters for doors between 700 - 1400mm wide and 35 – 40mm thick.


3 2 2. ARC’s new flexi-closer


ARC Building Solutions’ ARC Flexi-Closer, is a multi-width thermal cavity closer for window and door reveals. The 25mm thick cavity closer can be simply cut to size. Designed to close the cavity around window and door openings in masonry walls, it prevents cold bridging and helps to eliminate moisture, mould and staining. The rigid PVCu profile acts as an integral DPC and is insulated with EPS. It comes in 2.4m lengths, 25mm thick and is suitable for most common cavity widths: 65, 75, 85 and 100mm. There are 10 lengths per pack and 50 packs per pallet. The Flexi-Closer is also optionally available with a single flange to suit check reveal details where the window is set back behind the external brickwork. Gatic Slotdrain keeps business moving A new distribution centre at Littlebrook Business Park features Gatic CastSlot Littlebrook (Orbital 47) is home to several industrial companies which rely on the near constant movement of goods. In an area where unremitting, slow turning traffic is a major consideration, Gatic CastSlot, from the Gatic Slotdrain range, was an obvious choice in providing a reliable water management system for this project. The CastSlot system was specially chosen for its high capacity surface water intake, as well as its high-performance loading capabilities. It has been specifically designed to bear load ratings of up to F900, which is 90 tonnes.
