What is the background behind Lords at Home? Lords is a family owned housewares brand created by two sisters – Rita and Rachna, who grew up in North London.


Where are the stores located? The company now has six stores. Lords opened its first flagship store in Holland Park in June 2013 and has stores in Westbourne Grove, Hampstead, Northcote Road, St Johns Wood and Chorleywood.

What are the founder’s aims? • Rita: As Rita comes from a background of travel, marketing and customer services, the main thing at the forefront of her mind is looking after the company’s customers as best as they can, and finding out what else they can do to make shopping at Lords ‘Simply the Best’. “We are more than just a store; we want to make a difference,” she says. • Rachna: As a buyer, Rachna prefers making homes beautiful and being a busy mum; she knows how invaluable it is to have the combination of daily essentials, gifts, as well as nice to haves, all under one convenient roof.


What’s the latest news at Lords? Lords at Home have announced the appointment of Tilak Patel as managing director. Tilak has been with Lords at Home from the very beginning and his appointment as MD is the culmination of seven years of hard work, growing, learning and managing the day to day operations of the business, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter of our growing family company. Tilak Patel added: “It’s a huge honour to have
