ow! 2016 was quite a year, wasn’t it? And 2017 looks like being just as interesting and exciting for David Mason(Design). Within an ever-changing retail
landscape, there is more focus is on how we spend our hard- earned cash, or whether we save it for a rainy day? One thing that never changes is the British people’s desire to give something special to a relative or friend. One thing that never changes is the British peoples desire to give
something special to a relative or friend. At DMD we recognise this, and last year introduced several new
ranges under the English Tableware Company brand. These ranges were created as collections or lovely individual gifts. All the designs were created in house by our talented designers, from
beautiful hand painted florals to woodcut designs. DMD prides itself on our ability to mix up the creative and artistic with
both trend and commerciality. Nowhere is this better illustrated than the Artisan collection from the English Tableware Company. Artisan was initially conceived using the traditional woodcut designs of bygone years, and applies a contemporary feel both in style and in product. Additionally, we have created a range of Artisan pottery which compliments the initial range using techniques such as debossing and hand dipping on new specially created shapes across multiple kitchen and dining pottery products. Our most popular English Tableware Company range ‘In Bloom’ has
new additions, and now includes a Breakfast Cup & Saucer, Large Dome Cake Tin and Biscuit Tin. These additions come from our customer feedback. This is something we feel is very important.. We are constantly asking for feedback and take on board their comments and suggestions. We realise that our customers know what their customers like, so it makes sense to listen to them. David Mason Design has over 50
years of experience in the design and production of mills. Our strength lies in the belief that
team work is essential. Developments in the structure of DMD have facilitated the growth of the business in the face of an ever-changing retail environment and future consumer trends. Knowledge of both UK and

mills from every day use both at home and in restaurants and hotels. What you may not know is that there are also very many fine quality
bespoke salt and pepper mills created by our experienced in house design team and taken to market under other brands. Our latest seasoning product range, with clean soft lines, is an
example of how shape and design can be both simple and at the same time look sophisticated. Designed in house and made from durable porcelain with embossed
wording, this new range fits perfectly on trend for entertaining at home. The Camembert Baker with handle, is a new take on an already very
popular product for a perfectly baked and presented Camembert. Not only is the range suitable for home entertaining, but using our knowledge of the hospitality business, the look and quality would sit comfortably in any high-class restaurant.
