news Emma Bridgewater collaborates with Russell Hobbs

Tefal teams up with Men in Black

Tefal is working with Sony in a partnership with the new ‘Men In Black: International’ film, to create awareness and drive sales of its new IXEO linen care product. IXEO is described as ‘the first all-in-one

ironing and steaming solution that is a totally new way of taking care of your garments’. It has a Smart Board with three integrated positions, an intelligent steam head suitable for all fabrics, turbo steam technology, a removable base and built-in wheels for ease of transport. Running from mid-June throughout July,

Tefal will be deploying a digital media campaign which will include Facebook and YouTube. There will also be social media activity, with a Facebook carousel and a cinema ticket giveaway competition. The push will be underpinned with a comprehensive range of themed in-store point of sale material.

Tabletop manufacturing company Emma Bridgewater, founded by the ceramics designer of the same name, has joined forces with small electricals supplier Russell Hobbs to create two breakfast collections. The ranges will feature Emma Bridgewater’s Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade patterns on two-slice and four- slice toasters, as well as 1.7L and 1.5L kettles. Emma Bridgewater has also created a limited-edition half-pint mug to celebrate the collaboration.

Russell Hobbs marketing manager Dominic Lewis commented: “We wanted to work with a partner who shares our passion for quality, design and craftsmanship, to inject style and beauty into the nation’s kitchens. The collaboration will mark the start of a new relationship with Emma Bridgewater, and a very exciting future for kitchen appliances.” Emma Bridgewater added:

“We’re thrilled to partner with Russell Hobbs, a company known for its quality and

sturdiness, whose

appliances are well- loved and hold an essential place in British

kitchens. It has been immensely rewarding to translate our classic pottery pattern designs onto kettles and toasters. I hope customers enjoy their breakfast toast and tea from these cheerful appliances.”
